I realize that I dug myself into a hole with the design I made for this page. You will probably notice I have four photos for each of my friends here, well If you're my friend and you're not listed here, it's probably because I don't have four photos of you :P Sorry everyone, but if you know you should be listed here and you're not, then hit me up for some pictures and I promise you will be listed here as a friend! Sound good?

Preston

I was at least 9 when I met Preston for the first time. I remember getting into a near fist-fight with him at church because I made fun of his short haircut---I called him "Baldy". Preston and I got closer when we both went to the Little Schoolhouse in Del Rio for the 5th and 6th grade, but the following years we spent at different schools. Preston went to public school and I stayed at home, getting ahead. The years past and he ended up going to school with my brother Isaac and so I ended up seeing more and more of him. It really seemed like Preston went through some hard times there in the last year before he moved to Keller, but he's really made the best he can out of this last year. As you can see, I've been able to spend some time with him recently and these pictures were taken in the Temporary Living Facility (TLF) on base that he stayed at for a week with his family in July. Preston's a skilled musician with lots of good ideas. I listen to his stuff when I want to get some rock riff ideas. I'm hoping someday he and I can combine forces and start an "Explosions in the Sky-style" band... but we'll see.

Joey

I met Joey last year when we started going to Grace Community Church. I can remember the first couple of Sundays there with no one to talk to and too angry or embarrassed to walk up and meet anyone. I didn't end up meeting or talking to Joey for over a month at the church, but I finally walked up to their crowd and started talking. Joey invited my to a pool party and that's when I first started to get to known him. October 2006 we went to Texas Bible Institute for a men's retreat with the church, and that's when he and I started bonding deeper. I think Joey is probably the only person I know who I can tell anything to, and I think I've told him everything so far... He plays bass guitar primarily, but he just picked up acoustic guitar and I'm pretty excited. We've already gotten together to jam out since he bought it.

Chris

I've know Chris longer than I've known anyone else my whole life. He and I even went through a couple years of high school together. Now both he and I are graduated and about to enter the beginning of the rest of our lives. I just really hope our paths don't grow too far apart. Chris and I have had shared some good long talks through the hard times over the years, and I know I can tell him pretty much anything if I need to. He and I still meet for coffee with the other guys if we can all get work off all in one night. Chris is a really likeable dude, and he's always got a funny joke to tell, just don't listen to his racist ones---they'll make you a bad person :P

Josh

Josh moved to Del Rio the summer before I hit the 11th grade and he and I bonded pretty instantly. Josh is kinda of tech-freak or nerd who likes physics and math and that kinda stuff... but he's not too nerdy to have a girlfriend. Yessir, Josh is kind of a ladies' man and he's a good dude, too. Josh just joined the Air Force and he's in basic training as I write this. I haven't talked to him in a month, but I'm sure he's keeping a level head and he's able to deal with whatever the military training is dishing out... maybe not at first though :P. Josh is an Apple enthusiast, so he and I have some great debates about computer hardware and software, so he is always a fun guy to be around. Hope to see him soon.
